According to what Noticias Argentinas agency learned, the tasks began on January 7 and will extend for an estimated period of 30 days, during which the tunnel will be affected by the progress of the work. The intervention is carried out through an agreement between the municipality and the Buenos Aires provincial Directorate of Viality. Regarding traffic regulation, it was reported that during the construction period, the vehicular flow will be diverted to the opposite direction by means of temporary double-lane lanes, and some side streets will have partial cancellations while the work lasts between Miraflores and Adela Celia Burgos.
